At present, Capium does not provide an open or publicly available API. This is primarily due to security, stability, and compliance considerations. Our platform handles highly sensitive client data — including personal and financial information — so any external integration needs to meet strict data protection and regulatory standards such as GDPR.

We are currently working on internal APIs that power our own modules and automation features within the Capium suite.

However, before opening these for external use, we need to ensure:

  1. Robust access controls – so only authorised systems can securely exchange data.

  2. Comprehensive documentation and sandbox environments – to prevent disruption to live client environments.

  3. Regulatory and security assurance – ensuring all integrations meet our internal compliance framework.

Our goal is to eventually make APIs available for approved third-party use, starting with limited integrations once the appropriate infrastructure, monitoring, and compliance layers are in place.

In the meantime, automation can still be achieved within Capium through data imports, exports, and built-in integrations (e.g. banking and accounting modules), and we’re happy to explore any specific workflow needs to find a practical interim solution.
