4. Run Payroll: Once the leaving date is updated, run the payroll for the period to ensure that the employee's final pay is calculated correctly.
5. Check Payslip: After running the payroll, check the employee's payslip to verify that all figures appear accurate and reflect the employee's final pay.
6. FPS Submission: If the payslip figures are correct, proceed with the Full Payment Submission (FPS) to HMRC.
7. P45 Form: Finally, check the P45 form under Additional Form >> Form P45 to ensure that it has been generated accurately for the leaver.
