This article will provide a step by step guide on how to log, add and edit the time spent on a particular task specifically for staff users.

Remember staff users can only view approved and rejected time logs 


Add time:


Navigation: Time and Fees > Timelog > +Add Time 


To add time you can include the following:

  • Job ID

  • Client

  • Task

  • Subtask

  • Date 

  • Time spent

  • Description


Once saved, it will create a new job and that will be stored in the unsubmitted section.


Unsubmitted:


In order to submit for approval, you have to click on the unsubmitted time log and click ‘submit for approval’.

You can also send reminders here too.



PFA: Pending for Approval



Once you submit for approval it will be in the PFA section and the admin/managers will be able to approve or reject these.



Approved:


After the time log has been approved it will then move into the approved section as shown above and if for some reason it has been rejected the time log would be seen in the rejected section instead. 


Locked Time:




The green locked time means you are no longer able to edit the time log as it has been approved.

You have to get in touch with the admin or manager to withdraw approval if you need to change this.
